24,1994 at the ECW Arena in South Philadelphia,MA. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas defeated 2 Cold Scorpio to become
the NWA Heavyweight Champion. He threw down the title and proclaimed himself the ECW-EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING CHAMPION!
AND A NEW ERA BEGAN.........
